برنامج عمل متكامل مبني على أساس الاحتياجات الفعلية للمدرسة يتمكن من خلاله العاملون من بلوغ أهدافهم التعليمية والتربوية في أوقات زمنية محددة. التخطيط الجيد يجيب على هذه الأسئلة: 1- ما أهداف المدرسة ؟ 2- ما أنشطتها لتحقيق هذه الأهداف ؟ 3- متى تنفذ هذه الأنشطة ؟ 4- أين ستنفذ هذه الأنشطة ؟ 5- ما الموارد البشرية المطلوبة لتنفيذها ؟ 6- ما الموارد المادية اللازمة لتنفيذها ؟ 7- من ا لمسؤول عن تنفيذها ؟ 8- ما أسلوب المناسب لقياس مدى تحقيق الأهداف ؟ يسير التخطيط الجيد في ثلاثة اتجاهات رئيسة: 1- تسيير العمل. 2- حل المشكلات. 3- تطوير ا لعمل. أنواع التخطيط: 1- خطة قصيرة الأجل. ( أقل من سنة ) 2- خطة متوسطة الأجل. ( 1 – 5 سنوات ) 3- خطة طويلة الأجل.
