Failure is often misunderstood. Many people see failure as a sign to stop trying. In reality failure is a powerful teacher.
Every mistake provides information. Every unsuccessful attempt teaches a new lesson. Most great innovators failed many times before achieving success.
The difference between successful people and others is not intelligence. The difference is persistence.
Example
Thomas Edison conducted thousands of experiments before inventing the light bulb. When asked about failure he said
I did not fail I just found many ways that do not work.
